We answer within two business days. Safety reports are looked at the same day.
Reporting someone
The fastest way is inside the app — there's a report option on every screen where you can see a person. It takes about ten seconds and asks you to pick a reason.
Reports about someone appearing to be under 18 skip the queue entirely and are reviewed before anything else.
The person you report is never told who reported them. Not their name, not a hint. That's built into how the data is stored, so it can't leak by accident.
If you'd rather not use the app, email safety@getpairo.com with the person's name and roughly when you saw the profile.
Blocking someone
Blocking is absolute and immediate. A blocked person vanishes from your feed, from friend lists, and from search — in both directions, so they can't find you either. You don't have to report someone to block them, and blocking doesn't notify them.
Deleting your account
Settings → Delete account. Your profile and photos come down straight away, and everything is permanently erased within 30 days.
If you can't get into the app, email privacy@getpairo.com from the phone number or Apple ID on the account and we'll do it for you.
Common questions
Do I need friends to use Pairo?
No. Solo mode is one tap and works the same way, one-on-one.
Do my friends need the app?
To be part of a Pairo, yes. But you can invite a friend by text before they've joined — they'll show on your profile as "invited" until they accept.
Why can't I see who liked me?
Because they'd be able to see the same about you. Private picks only ever surface when it's mutual. That's a deliberate design decision, not a paywall — there's no version of Pairo where you can buy your way into seeing it.
Why is the distance approximate?
We deliberately blur everyone's location before storing it, including yours. Exact positions are the most dangerous thing a dating app can hold, so we don't keep them. See the Privacy Policy.
Can I use Pairo if I'm 17?
No. Pairo is 18+ and the age check is enforced by the database, not just the sign-up screen.
