Terms of Service
Last updated September 1, 2026
These are the rules for using Pairo. By making an account, you're agreeing to them. We've kept them short and readable on purpose.
You must be 18
No exceptions. You confirm you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. If we find out you're not, your account is removed immediately and permanently.
Your account
- One account per person. Be who you say you are.
- Use your real photos and real information.
- Keep control of your phone number and Apple ID — that's how you sign in.
- Don't sell, share, or transfer your account.
How to behave
Pairo puts strangers in a room together. That only works if people are decent. Don't:
- Harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate anyone
- Pretend to be someone you're not, or use someone else's photos
- Post nudity, sexually explicit images, or anything violent or hateful
- Ask anyone for money, promote anything, or run any kind of scam
- Advertise or solicit commercial sex in any form
- Share anyone's private information — including screenshots of private chats
- Use Pairo if you've ever been convicted of a violent or sexual offence
- Scrape, copy, or automate any part of the service
Break these and we'll remove your account, usually without warning. Where the law requires it, we report to the authorities.
Meeting people is your decision
We can't verify anyone. We don't run criminal background checks. Someone passing our sign-up says nothing about who they actually are.
When you meet someone from Pairo, you do it at your own risk. Meet in public first. Tell someone where you're going — the app has a built-in way to do exactly that. Arrange your own transport. Trust your gut and leave whenever you want.
Your content
Your photos and words stay yours. To show them to other people in the app, you give us permission to store and display them within Pairo. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account — except for anything already saved as part of a safety report.
Reports and moderation
Anyone can report a profile or a message from anywhere in the app. We review reports and act on them. Reports about someone appearing to be underage are handled first, ahead of everything else in the queue. The person you report is never told who reported them.
We may remove content or accounts at our discretion to keep people safe.
Ending things
You can delete your account any time from inside the app. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that we reasonably believe puts other people at risk.
The service as it is
Pairo is provided "as is." We don't guarantee it will always work, that you'll meet anyone, or that anyone you meet will be who they claim. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for anything that happens between you and another user — online or in person.
Nothing here limits liability that legally cannot be limited.
Changes
If we change these terms meaningfully, we'll tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Pairo after that means you accept the new version.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
